The Wales Care Awards are an annual celebration of excellence across the care sector in Wales, an opportunity to congratulate those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding merit within their field.
The awards are organised annually by Care Forum Wales, which supports more than 450 care homes, nursing homes and other independent health and social care providers across Wales.
A contingent from Meddyg Care attended this year’s ceremony at City Hall in Cardiff, which was hosted by tenor, Wynne Evans.
We are all incredibly proud to report that Natasha Williams, Meddyg Care’s Activities Manager was successful in winning the Gold Award in the ‘Promoting Fulfilled Lives’ Award. But the success did not end there. Unbeknown to all in the room there was one final award of the night, the most prestigious of the evening in the category of ‘Dignity in Care’ to which Natasha also placed Gold.
Managing Director Kevin Edwards said, “Natasha is the epitome of an employee that goes above and beyond for our residents, their families and her colleagues. Natasha’s bright smile, cheery demeanour and outgoing personality, brings warmth to our homes and her familiarity with all our residents is testament to her dedication as our Activities Manager.”
Meddyg Care are extremely proud of Natasha and her double Gold award success. These awards only go to recognise the specialist dementia care that we provide and sets Meddyg Care apart as a true leader in its field in North Wales.
