Care Inspectorate Wales are an independent regulator of social care in Wales. All of their members are required to undergo thorough regular inspections and take actions to improve their services.
We see their reports as the highest professional opinion on our homes and encourage you to read more about our most recent appraisal.
We provide residential & nursing care for people with or without the diagnosis of dementia. We accept residents with Alzheimer's, challenging behaviour, head & brain injury, Parkinson’s disease and stroke.
Rhyl provides care for people with a variety of needs, but we are a home first and foremost. We understand that considering moving, either yourself or a loved one, is a life changing decision so, we try to offer as many ways as possible for you to learn what to expect.
Our homes have a wide range of common spaces.
Many might be found in any home, such as living rooms, bedrooms and dining rooms. They provide a space to focus on hobbies, activities, or to socialise and relax.
Other spaces have a therapeutic purpose and offer a place to practice routines and chores from daily life which bring comfort. They can become a familiar, grounding space in times of confusion or distress, without the additional risks that may otherwise be associated with those areas for people living with movement, concentration or memory difficulties.
*marked areas do not have functional appliances but may have some dementia safe props, furnishings and set dressing.
Step inside our homes and take the time to enjoy a few of the fond moments we've shared with our residents.
We work hard to create a comfortable and active home. Our staff are always present to assist with care needs, to provide a range of activities to engage with or just for a chat and a cup of tea.
Our varied daily activities help to boost morale and promote a general sense of wellbeing throughout the home. All of our activities are tailored to the interests of those who are living with us, and also include therapeutic elements of mental and sensory stimulation which specifically aids people living with dementia and health care needs.
Lying in or preparing for the day ahead, the early hours are a time for waking up and taking care of ourselves, no matter if you're an early bird or night owl.
Activities, day trips and family visits; enjoy the hustle and bustle with chats over a cup of tea or take the opportunity to engage with a hobby.
*Snacks and beverages from the coffee bar and tuck shop trolley are available all throughout the day.
Themed snacks and drinks are served during events.
Activities and events continue in the afternoon. Join in or rest and relax, there's always something to choose from our ever expanding pool of activities.
Winding down for the evening after a snack supper helps us prepare for bed so we can reflect on the day and recharge our batteries for tomorrow.
To ensure we can deliver the best care possible we have a lot of people working to provide round-the-clock assistance to those living in our homes and their loved ones.
