If a loved one requires specialist dementia care, look no further than Meddyg Care. We exist solely to provide the specialised care required for people to live out their days as happily and independently as possible.
Below you will find everything you need for a smooth admission process and if you have any questions don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Family Referral
If you are interested in finding a suitable home for your loved one please contact the manager or use the Admissions page. We would be happy to send you a brochure, answer any questions you may have and invite you to view the home and meet staff and residents in the first instance. We understand that making an important decision like finding a care home can be a daunting time and we endeavour to be as helpful as possible.
For Professionals
If you require more information about our facilities and services, please contact the home manager. We will be happy to discuss your client’s needs and to facilitate a viewing. Our Area Manager will be happy to liaise and assist with funding arrangements and procedures.
Arranging a Viewing
If you would like to arrange a no pressure viewing or spend the afternoon with us to get a feel for the home please contact the manager. We are sure you will enjoy the relaxed friendly atmosphere and at least enjoy a cup of tea and slice of cake!
Admission Documents
Meddyg Care actively promotes best practice in all areas of our care. The failure to transfer appropriate information effectively can lead to misinformation, confusion, and the potential for errors. To enable our nursing and care staff to facilitate Person Centred Care, we ask your assistance in providing us with information to ascertain the residents wishes and preferences. These documents will enable their settling in period to be stress free and adapt to their new surroundings quickly.
Our Fees
Meddyg Care focuses on delivering individualised care based upon the specific needs of the person, as such fees are determined by the level of care required.
The Home Manager is able to confirm weekly fees once a full assessment of needs has taken place and we are certain we can meet your needs. For those funding their placements by private means, please refer to our specimen contract.
