Our managing director, Kevin Edwards, was more than happy to discuss the impact the Coronavirus and Coronavirus testing is having on care homes.

Speaking to Wales Online, Kevin told how all of our staff and residents were tested for the virus three weeks ago and we are now set to start our second round of testing.

We want to ensure our residents and their families are safe and we are complying with all Welsh government guidance to protect everyone in our care, including full PPE and testing.

However, he commented on the issue of timing, with it taking five days to receive test results a lot of uncertainty was created in the days that followed.

He further went on to add once results came in. “Thankfully – and I guess this shows how good our PPE provision has been – none of our residents have tested positive.”
